DESCRIPTION: Time Sector Clock, Mk1, Model 1, an unusual, U.S. Navy hanging chronograph for timing intervals of up to one hour, with heavy, cast bronze ward room style case, the side with two pushers controlling start, stop, and return to zero functions, silvered Arabic numeral dial displaying seconds, with subsidiary, 60 minute register, and marked "Machinery Division Navy Yard, New York 1930", 8 day, Seth Thomas #10 timepiece movement, modified by the addition of friction fit heart cams on the center and seconds arbors, hammer for return to zero function, and bridge for regulator
CONDITION: case with numerous layers of paint, bezel with minor scratches and dent, dial with discoloration, scratches, and spots of verdigris, one dial screw head broken off, movement running, oily, dirty, would benefit from service, chronograph functions working
